book jacket for a collection of poems celebrating the absurd in the tradition of Dadaism
Here, I wanted to reference the typographic style of the Dada period as well as play with the language of the absurd. I approached this piece as an abstract painting composed of type. I paid close attention to the interplay between different elements, inspired by the rhythms of perpetual motion machines. I used a wide variety of fonts to create a dynamic and playful feel.
